Arizona is home to seven chapters, four graduate and three undergraduate chapters. The first chapter to form, was Delta Gamma Zeta graduate chapter in 1952 in Phoenix, AZ. The second chapter to organize in the state was Kappa Iota undergraduate chapter at Arizona State University in 1979.  Twelve years later, Omicron Zeta Zeta and Pi Xi chapter chartered in Tucson and on the campus of the University of Arizona, respectively in 1991. In 2008, Chi Alpha Zeta graduate chapter formed in Surprise, AZ. Joined four years later by then Omega Rho Zeta graduate chapter in Marana, AZ. In 2019, Omicron Phi undergraduate chapter was chartered on the campus of Northern Arizona University, making Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated the first historically black sorority on all three Arizona campuses.
